WHAT'S ABOUT
THE PROCESS YOU SHOULD KNOW ?

We use dehydration, a gentle and energy-efficient method to preserve food. Unlike freeze-drying (lyophilization), which requires industrial equipment and consumes a lot of energy, dehydration uses low heat over a longer period to gradually remove water from the meals.
This allows us to work with local, seasonal ingredients and prepare our recipes ourselves just like homemade cooking, but with extended shelf life and lightness for expeditions. Dehydration preserves both nutritional value and flavour, without relying on ultra-processing or additives.
In short: it's more natural, more sustainable, and closer to real food.
Our meals come with a "Best Before Date" (BBD) or DDM (Date de Durabilité Minimale) in French which means the product remains safe and edible even after this date. However, to ensure you enjoy the freshness of the ingredients and the best quality, we set the BBD to one year.
This timeframe allows you to fully appreciate the flavours and nutritional benefits as intended, without compromising on taste or safety.
In short, while the meals can last longer, we recommend consuming them within one year for the optimal experience.
We craft our meals with local, seasonal ingredients, mostly from Belgium and nearby.
All our vegetables come from an organic farm just 20 km away.
When local sourcing isn’t possible, we choose nearby alternatives in minimal quantities to limit our impact.
This ensures tasty, nutritious meals that support local farms and reduce our carbon footprint.
To prepare your meal, all you need is hot water. No extra container is necessary, as the package itself serves as your bowl.
Pour the hot water directly into the pouch, seal it, and let it rest for about 14 minutes. This waiting time is optimal to fully rehydrate each ingredient and restore the textures, so you get the experience of a real homemade meal.
In short, the three essentials are: hot water, a bit of patience, and a healthy appetite!
Hand-cooked with love and precision In our kitchen, every recipe is crafted by hand. We cook in small batches to bring out rich, homemade flavours. Behind each dish is a lot of technical thinking, carefully balanced meals designed to fuel any adventure. Packed for the wild Once dehydrated, the meals are sealed in lightweight packs made for the outdoors. Every detail is considered so you can focus on your journey.
